Our Services

We can help with a wide range of criminal matters to include Police Station Representation, Magistrates’ Court Work, Youth Court and Crown Court matters.

For specialist Youth Court advice, please contact Jane Werry at our Southend Office or Mark Pearson at our Basildon Office.

In addition, we recognise that with the increased use of speed cameras that all motorists need our help to retain their Drivers Licence.

We can therefore also assist in cases involving:
  • Drink Driving
  • Speeding
  • ‘Totting’
  • Careless and Dangerous Driving
  • Death by Dangerous Driving

For specialist Motoring Advice, please contact Matthew Bone or Michael Rees at our Southend Office and Mark Pearson or Ian Clift at our Basildon Office.

Legal Aid

Please do not worry that you will be charged simply for making an enquiry, that is not our policy.

In any event, the majority of work we undertake is funded by Legal Aid.

Advice at the Police Station is always free of charge to a Client whatever their means.

We will help anyone to apply for Legal Aid for cases before the Magistrates’ Court when entitlement is based in part upon a means test and will always represent youths, including free of charge when appropriate.

There is however no means test for cases before the Crown Court where Legal Aid should almost always be granted.

Private Fees

It follows that we are normally only required to charge Private Fees for Motoring Matters that do not attract Legal Aid and to those Clients who do not satisfy the means test in cases before the Magistrates’ Court.
